Programs

The mission of the H.O.P.E. organization is to provide emergency assistance to the indigent and to give them the tools and resources that promote self-sufficiency by pooling resources that provide assistance through a networking system designed to prevent duplication of services.

Back Pack Program

The Backpack Program provides nutritional meals and snacks for students whose primary source of food is the school cafeteria.

Brown Bag Program

HOPE's Brown Bag Program provides a bag of nourishing staples to elderly and disabled clients who qualify for the program.

HOPE Kitchen

The HOPE Kitchen serves a healthy meal to anyone who walks in the door from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm., Monday through Thursday.

Life Enrichment

Life Enrichment classes are offered to anyone about once a quarter and are free to anyone wishing to take advantage of them.

Manna Pantry

HOPE's Manna Pantry provides non perishable, staple food items for qualified applicants.

Medicare Part D

Learn more about Medicare Part D and if you qualify for extra financial assistance with help to pay for prescription drugs costs.

Prescription Application Program

H.O.P.E.'s Prescription Application Assistance Program (PAAP) assists citizens of Cherokee County, in obtaining prescription medications.

Senior Box Program

The Senior Box Program is designed to improve the health and nutrition of senior citizens by providing them with a free box of nutritious food.

Sylvia McCarroll Foundation

One of the programs at H.O.P.E. is the Sylvia McCarroll Foundation which provides money for the Back Pack Program.

Transportation Program

H.O.P.E provides transportation to those without other means of getting around, taking them to doctor, banks, etc...

Emergency Dental Program

HOPE has partnered with local dentists and oral professionals to provide emergency dental care to Cherokee County residents in need.

HOPE has partnered with the University of Texas Tyler to bring Cherokee County our Clinic of HOPE.
